A Memorable Celebration of Community and Connection

This past weekend, we hosted the annual Parents Weekend, an event designed to bring families together and give them a glimpse into the vibrant culture our students experience every day. The weekend was packed with activities, informative sessions, and social gatherings, making it a truly special occasion for students and their families.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the president. Faculty members held panel discussions, offering insights into academic programs, career opportunities, and student life. Many attended open houses at various departments, where they engaged with professors and learned more about their children’s chosen fields of study. Additionally, there were showcases of student projects and research, allowing families to appreciate the intellectual curiosity and hard work displayed by the university community. Parents expressed their gratitude for the event, noting how it provided reassurance about their children’s well-being and future success at the university.
